What you can expect when you work with me......

Welcome to Happy Home Interiors! When you work with me, you can expect a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish. Here's an overview of the workflow and what you can expect when you choose me for your interior design needs:

The Process

1: The Mood Board - Design Concept

Starting your interior design project can be overwhelming. With so many styles, colours, and textures to choose from, where do you even begin? This is where a mood board comes in handy.

A mood board is a visual representation of your ideas and concepts. It helps you refine your style and gives you a clear direction for your project. Whether you're into mid-century modern, Scandinavian, or rustic styles, I can create a mood board that suits your taste and helps you visualise the look and feel of your space.

2: The Floor Plan - Developed Design

The floor plan is the blueprint for your dream home or space. It guides the placement of furniture, the flow of traffic, and the overall functionality of a space.

A floor plan provides you with a customised floor plan options based on your home's specific dimensions and layout. This plan is designed to optimise your space and provide you with the best possible layout for your needs.

3: The 3D Model - Developed Design

Envision walking through your future home or space before construction has even commenced.

Our 3D model allows you to do just that. I'll create a digital representation of your space, complete with furniture and decor, so you can see exactly how everything will look once it's done. This model will give you a realistic preview of your finished project, helping you make informed decisions about your design.

4. Fixtures & Fittings Schedule - FF & E

Imagine having an extensive shopping list with all the items required for your project.

You will receive a link from my software called Programa with a detailed list of all items required to complete your project. Everything from tiles, window treatments, flooring, tapware. Whatever is in your scope of works is detailed in this schedule.

The Workflow

Here's how I'll bring these steps to life:

  1. Consultation

I'll start with a video call to discuss your project needs and ideas. This will help me understand your style preferences and the functionality you're looking for. A scope of works will be ascertained from this conversation.

    2. Mood Board Creation

Based on our discussion, I'll create a mood board that represents the look and feel of your project. This will serve as our guide for the rest of the design process.

  2. Floor Plan Design

Using the dimensions and layout of your space, I'll create a customised floor plan. This plan will optimise your space and provide you with the best possible layout for your needs.

  3. 3D Model Development

I'll create a 3D digital representation of your space, complete with furniture and decor. This model will allow you to visualise the finished project, making it easier for you to make decisions about your design.

  4. Elevations and Perspectives

I'll provide you with multiple views of your space, from different angles and perspectives. These images will show you how various design elements will look from a standing or seated position, giving you a comprehensive view of your design.

Elevations, refer to the vertical views of a building or interior space. These are two-dimensional representations showing the layout of the space from a specific viewpoint. Elevations are critical as they provide a clear and detailed depiction of the design, allowing for precise planning and execution. The elevations will be in your design documentation with measurements and information related to your design in elevation form.

  5. Fixtures & Fittings - A link will be provided to you with your detailed list in Programa of your schedule. Listing all fixtures and fittings pertaining to your project.

  6. PDF Documents

Finally, I'll put together all the details of your project, from the mood board to the floor plans, elevations, and 3D model, into a handy PDF document that you can refer to at any time.
